Into the Gray

We first meet April mid-Onette when we arrive to New Flavem. She seems very friendly and provides a lot of research and answers for us. She can be a bit too chatty for Arachne when using Sending, so we’re not always able to communicate effectively.

When we met her, she was busy researching financial transactions from the war.

We have an agreement she will put a candle in the window if she’s in ongoing trouble. I have gifted her an old lantern I found in some of the ruins.

What We’ve Learned

• New Dawn was embezzling or used as a front for less-than-legitimate activities during the war.
• Conqel has a problem with magic, but New Flavem is the least strict.
• You can get a Magic License to avoid trouble.
• New Flavem was named after a town on a different continent and is one of the oldest cities in this area.
• The golden mouse is a legend of fortune at least 300 years old.
• The Smuggling Ring crest we found hasn’t been used in some 50 years.
• That Perfrind exists and where to find it.
• The star charts I found in the ruins of the New Dawn bunker isn’t right, the stars in the east are extremely wrong.
• Legends of Eternal Ice: She is reminded of this by the cold crystal and the Shrieking
• The Disco Thief is a flamboyant obnoxious legend
