Into the Gray

An unnamed, undescribed infection swept through Perfrind, may be related to toxic water we found in the Perfrind Government Building there.

We do find paperwork that documented check-ins to the building, including who was possibly infected. Loverboy Marvin is not on the list of infected check-ins.

While inside the building, we find a barrel in the back of one of the rooms filled with water. Using Detect Magic, Arachne can see it holds some kind of "whack-ass" transmutation magic. We suspect it might turn people into Slaad, given the number of them in the area, which were also trapped in large groups within some rooms.
