Session Summary

During the week, we eat, train, and run errands. Pharèl begins planning a festival with the Gendry Theater and Hedvika, works at the Flank n Shank, gets Twinkletoes' help drumming up local excitement for the festival. Elzara works at the Kokorun Smithy and asks around about Hedvika. Elzira buys his history book and takes two days to read it at the inn, earning advantage on history checks regarding Gendry. Twinkletoes finds paid work at the Gendry Theater and busks during weekdays. Wash talks with Elzara about his shield and meets with Kai and his boss. Star sneaks around. Arachne buys up better armor and hangs out in a field communing with her holy symbol.

THU, FRI

• Morning: Early training, breakfast shift
• Evening: Shopping or social calls, dinner shift

Lunch/dinner shifts swapped as needed for practical scheduling.

Social calls:

1. Visiting the Gendry Theater ASAP to discuss what it would take to throw a small festival within the next week
2. Taking that information to Hedvika and proposing a festival which will help Hedvika raise the spirits of the town with everything happening (which makes Hedvika look good and earn support)

Meta: Pharèl isn't hiding these activities but also isn't explicitly mentioning it to anyone except rambling about ideas for festivities to whoever listens.

9am Thursday post breakfast

Elzara:

• Heads to the Kokorun Smithy to work
• Asks about Hedvika

Elzira:

• 2 full days
• Advantage on history check once finished

Twinkletoes:

• Heads to the theater
• Attempt to do some work
• Finds a couple of groups willing to hire her during the weekend
• It’s suggested that she busks during weekdays

Wash:

• Talks to Elzara about his shield
• Is heading out with Kai to meet their boss
• Says he isn’t particularly picky about his shield

Star:

Arachne:

• Picks up new armor now that she’s flush with cash
• Chain shirt (50gp) #costs #items
• Looks for a park or a field
• Asks the people at the armory about where to find that
• Some places are open and communal
• Learns where she’s allowed to go, it’s not super close and is late enough in the day she will lose dinner time
• Sells leather armor for 1gp at the smithy (not Kokorun) #income

Me:

• Heads over to the Gendry Theater to see about what it would take to throw a festival
• I am desperately trying to pitch people on this festival but I’m struggling to convey what I need, I am a bumbling fool
• I have drummed up perhaps negative interest in what I want to do IF my original roll happened
• RETCON: Twinkletoes comes to help me sell this and ends up giving me advantage so that people are getting really interested and excited
• I am able to get a ranged estimate for what the festival would cost to throw, it is hilariously out of my price range

Thursday evening

Elzara:

• Chatting with Dilip Corry
• Starts working on the shield

Elzira:

• Reading

Twinkletoes:

• Follows me around
• Helps me sell my festival ideas to everyone
• Continues on following me

• Town hall

• Attempts to haggle price, saves himself half a gp
• Heads to Hedvika

• Waiting till tomorrow with the field
• Meditates in her room

Me:

• Heads to Kokorun Smithy with Twinkletoes

• We see Elzara working on the shield

• The dog is the first one to notify her that we’re here

• Dilip was able to ask around about my staff

  • The method used to modify this staff was not uncommon
  • The devices made to be modified were rare, the staff itself is rare
  • I can find it “around”
  • People to follow up with the following day

• Hands me my staff and a simple run-down of the current understanding

• Will try to pick up a dinner shift

• Reasonable performance

• Finish off tome from the night before
• Casts find familiar (1 hour)

Arachne:

• Weather is looking good
• Goes to pick up food at Flank N Shank
• Takes it to the field

Friday evening

Me:

• Picks up Twinkletoes from the theater
• Goes to Hedvika to pitch festival
• Easily let in past the guards
• Lay out when the festival should take place and where
• The theater is sounding like a good idea
• He’s pretty excited about the festival and is willing to fund this, only disappointed at needing to run it so quickly
• Possibly happening a week from Monday
• Twinkletoes asks why a parade isn’t possible and it’s because it typically requires so much paperwork to make happen

Elzira:

• Finishes book this evening

Elzara:

• Work on Wash’s shield

Star:

• Picks up food
• Asks for work, might get guard duty
• Finds out a low-key barracks to head to
• Spends the day getting background checks and tested for becoming a guard

Arachne:

• In her feelings after her picnic
• Curls up and is emo in the field
