Into the Gray

Session Summary

We arrived in town and booked an inn for 5sp per night. In the morning, we searched for food and heard a little girl crying. Her kitten was missing, so we searched the city center and found a house where the kitten had been. We followed its paw prints and heard it mewing, but it ran away until Elzara caught it with a net. Twinkletoes spoke to the kitten and found out it was chasing a shiny mouse but wanted to go back to its owner. We fed it some tuna and returned it to the girl, making her very happy.

We arrive and all book an inn for 5sp per night. We ask about food in the morning and it’s suggested to make our own, so we head into town to buy food to cook. #costs

While we’re picking up food we hear a little girl crying. We find her crying next to a food stand on the floor.

It turns out that her kitty is missing. The father explains he’s not expecting the best. 

Star asks some folks in thieves cant but they don’t understand it.

Twinkletoes asks a group of kids if they’ve seen a cat. They have, the day before! They point us towards the city center.

We find a house that the kitten went through. We interacted with the neighbor who checks for us whether the kitten was inside.

On the outside of this house I find a rag hanging on the back of the house. I also find evidence that the kitten jumped into the dirt below the window. Behind the rag is a small hole.

Arachne finds kitten paw prints going north and we all begin to follow. She hears a kitten mew! She unsuccessfully attempts to pick it up and it dashes off. 

Elzara finally manages to throw a net over the kitten and we catch it. Arachne feeds it some tuna. Twinkletoes carries the kitten off to a hidden location and speaks to it. We find that the kitten was chasing a shiny mouse. But does want to go back to its child!
