Session Summary

On the 19th of Onett in the year 5372, we meet a druid named David Henderson during Star's watch. We bond over cooking and nature, and he gives us each Nature's Medicine which he says can cure whatever ails us. The next day, Kai tells us that Wash should be in New Flavem and suggests we investigate some nearby ruins for valuable items. We spend Sunday leveling up and get masks from Kai to protect us from toxic air in the ruins. On Monday, we set out on our mission after saying goodbye to Henderson and April.

The year is 5372. The 19th of Onett. (Meta: Did we camp two nights or should this be the 18th?)

Seven hours into the night, a 40-50s year old looking man with white hair and spectacles shows up during Star’s watch.

We have a conversation where we learn that he’s a druid and was visited by the mouse in his dreams, however he believes it was a vision because he can now become the mouse. #characterlore

He offers breakfast, and I ask if we can cook together. We cook very well! #cooking

His name is David Henderson. He and I get along very well, talking about nature and how he doesn’t want to work for anyone.

We decide to hang out with Henderson all day, continuing with lunch and dinner. By paying attention to him we’re able to earn hidden +1 Nature checks for New Flavem. #relationships #boons ^670a66

David suggests Twinkletoes performs for us, but not well.

He gives us each something that he calls Nature’s Medicine. It’s 5 servings and says it’ll cure whatever ails us. #items

Later we hear from Kai that Wash should be here already. Kai is leaving right now to meet us on Monday. We’ll decide then whether we go looking for Wash or carry on. He suggests we should not split up, since we don’t know why or how Wash disappeared. 

We decide to go on the mission once Kai arrives, and take Sunday to level up. Elzara especially wants to make sure that Wash gets found.

On Monday, Kai is waiting for us outside the inn. We gather and talk over breakfast.

Kai pulls out a map and points to an area to the East, a little bit North of New Flavem. There’s a circle. From reports, there’s a location with ruins that are unexplored. It’s a smaller set of ruins and should be manageable. Still destroyed, still dangerous. We believe it was a military base and are hoping to find valuable things.

We learn that in some of these spaces, the air is basically toxic so we all get masks, paid for by Kai. #items

I drop by to see David and April before we leave. In the evening we head out towards our mission. #relationships
