Session Summary

In the third round, we make progress despite Elzara being still stunned and blinded. Star shoots down a turret, while I smash one below me and decommission it. Arachne deals damage using Shatter and triggers her guardian effect. Elzira casts Fireball, and Sylvia heals Elzara despite taking damage from Arachne's Spirit Guardians. Star and I take down more bots, while Arachne heals me with Cure Wounds and Twinkletoes casts Shatter to kill a bot. Eventually, we defeat all the bots, and Elzara takes the stone after I give it to her directly… and after she punches me hard.

Star shoots at the turret. He hits for 16 damage. 

I smash at the turret below me for 16 damage and strike the nearby robot for 7 damage. I manage to decommission the turret. I use 2 Sorcerer Points to quicken Chromatic Orb and miss terribly. 

Arachne Stunned TURN 2

Twinkletoes deals 17 damage using Shatter.

Arachne’s guardian effect takes place. It deals 16 damage to anyone who fails its 13 DC.

The blinded robot closest to Elzara swings and misses. The other swings and misses, too. The one in front of me fires two darts at me. I cast my shield spell and manage to not get hit by the dart that almost hits me. 

Elzira steps up to cast Fireball, dealing 29 damage.

Sylvia runs up to Elzara to do something medicinal-looking, risking the damage from Arachne’s Spirit Guardians, taking 8 damage.

Sylvia’s help means that Elzara is no longer stunned! Elzara blindly swings at the blind robot, dealing 5+6 damage. The second attack misses. BLINDNESS 4

Star shoots at the bot to my right, dealing 19 damage.

I swing and miss with Green-Flame Blade, but miss. I quicken Blur. BLUR 1

Arachne is still stunned. STUN 3

Twinkletoes shoots at the bot in front of Elzara, dealing 4 damage. 

The bots take another shot at me, and one dart hits me somehow. I take 2 damage after using Shield and lose concentration on Blur. Another bot hits me for 15 damage.

Elzira aims a Fire Bolt at a bot, dealing 10 damage. 

Sylvia gets hit by the Spirit Guardian again and repeats her medicine with Arachne. 

Elzara swings twice and hits once, dealing 11 damage, killing the bot next to me.

Star shoots at the bot right in front of me, dealing 14 damage and killing it. 

I run up and use Shocking Grasp to deal 11 lightning damage. I use my mobile feet to step back around the corner.

Arachne steps forward and Spirit Guardians deals 10 damage. She uses Cure Wounds to grant me 16 healing. She calls me a dumbass, and I grin back in embarrassment. 

Twinkletoes casts Shatter to deal 15 thunder damage. The center one in the back goes down. She casts 6 healing on me.

A bot moves to angle on me, and a dart hits me for 1 damage. I seem to survive a CON saving throw.

Elzira takes a shot at the obscured bots. He misses. 

Arachne rolls 16 damage on Spirit Guardians, which hits Sylvia. 

Elzara tries to stumble forward, trying to touch around to see if there is more metal.

Star enters the room and shouts to Elzira that he could come in, but don’t pass him. He shoots at the bots in the back. He deals 17 damage. 

I run up and try to shock the last bot but manage to fail. I run back around the corner to get out of range. 

Arachne’s guardians strike 16 damage to the bot as she moves forward. Guiding Bolt strikes for 32 damage.

They’re all dead. 

I go to help Elzara and she sucker punches me, dealing 3 damage.

Star starts yelling at me about the situation. He asks for the stone. I ask if I’d get it back. He said he’d give it to Elzara. I choose to give it to Elzara directly, who takes it. #items
