Session Summary
I help construct a machine that creates a rainbow in the air while Star continues to investigate the building. He manages to avoid being caught and finds a book about Synergy and a sign-in sheet with my name on it. During dinner, Arachne uses Sending to ask about the Synergy cult and learns that they may be connected to the New Dawn.

I am able to determine what to do and help construct a machine that creates some sort of rainbow in the air.

Meanwhile, Star continues looking through the building. The door he inspects, leading into the classroom, does not appear to have traps. He tries to open the door but it shocks him. He Nat20s and manages not to get hurt. The door does slide open. Despite being in pain, he is able to quickly and quietly get through the door. Everyone is too focused on talking about Synergy.
He goes through another door successfully. Now he is in another room. He checks sounds behinds doors. To the left, nothing but a faint humming coming from the door itself. To the right, heavy machinery. He uses mage hand to try and open the trapped door but it is also traditionally locked. Looking under the cracks, it looks like they are different offices.
He gives up and walks into the other room. Guys are talking about what the machine will be this time. They are stacking up parts. He sees a power cord on one of the shelves.
He continues looking around, he finds a book called “Synergy: Changing You and the World” by Syngacto. He also finds a quill and ink, which he takes.
He starts opening another door, a voice says, “Hello? I thought no one was in there.” The person who recruited me looks in, sees nothing, and leaves. Star finds a paper about me and how agreeable I am, being quite the people pleaser.
He ultimately uses Minor Illusion to make a mouse squeak and he leaves.
We meet together at dinner and talk over events:
