Session Summary

Twinkletoes busks. Wash, Star, and Elzara spend the week crafting two full exoskeletons. I sweet-talks his way into an afternoon of learning with a chef. Arachne receives our invitation to a dance from the Disco Thief. I learn from Dina Maeve that Rajul is someone to avoid. We attend the Disco Thief's dance. In preparation for the party I sell a robot for a profit and use the money to buy a fancy dance outfit complete with cape. Elzara helps me bring the remainder of my beer keg and we are greeted by a male dwarf who offers to teach us how to dance. As a result of our adventures, Elzara gains a permanent +1 on Smiths Tools, Arachne gains a permanent +2 to Religion, and I gain a +1 to my Chef’s Tools checks.

Arachne has an emo picnic.

In the morning, Arachne has a burning sensation in her pocket.

It reads: “6 PM next Wednesday, dance until you collapse, using The Capel in Trin we will dance the night away. Bring snacks if you want!” #letters

Meanwhile, Wash sends Pharèl off to find Dina Maeve again to ask what she knows about Rajul. I pick up a token of wine. Cost: 10gp, Along the way I manage to find some gardenwork peeping over the fences and so I pluck some of these to create a small boquet.

I get to the Sleepy Seal and ask about Dina’s whereabouts and whether she’d likely be here today. I learn she’s not been since Sunday and would likely be back by today sometime. I hang around until noon and find Dina Maeve.

I approach with my wine and flowers, she assumes that I’m hitting on her. I explain that I’m just grateful for her time. “What is it this time?” she says, eyeballing the wine. I ask about Rajul and her eyebrows go up. She advises I, specifically, stay away from anything involving Rajul.

I ask after why. She explains violence isn’t always the answer. She continues to refuse to give much more information in between banter.

The week passes before the dance. They manage to make two full exoskeletons. Elzara gets a permanent +1 on Smiths Tools. #boons

Before the dance I go out to get dancing clothes. There is a cheaper swooshy outfit for 1gp and a more expensive one for 50gp. On short notice, I am able to sell a funk robot to a reseller for 60gp. I sell it! I gain 10gp in profit and the fancy dance outfit with the cape. I make snacks to bring, and manage to make some pretty nice ones. #items

We head to the party!! I bring my snacks and Elzara helps me drag what’s left of my beer keg.

As we step into the Capel, right inside at the entrance we see a male dwarf with a big bushy beard dancing at the front. As we all come in, “Oh, I’m so excited, I knew you guys would come! Except for you, I wasn’t sure you’d come.” He gestures to Wash. “It’s good to see you a second time, how’s your week been?”

I offer up my snacks and drink. He grabs one of my treats and says, “Oh my gosh, so good. If you’d like I can show you how I dance, maybe you’ll learn a thing or two.”
