Session Summary

Kai returns with news and items. He has acquired magic charms that allow us to stay underwater and breathe for an hour, in exchange for trinkets we find in the process. He also provides us with information on how to commit a crime up north to obtain batteries for Steve. We decide to commit crimes and then search the sea. We prepare for a day before teleporting to New Flavem, where Elzita uses Banishment to begin returning the Planetars back to their original plane of existence. We visit Steve the safe. On the road to Gendry we see more markings and strange words carved into the trees. We arrive in Gendry, restock, and continue heading northward without significant events. In Whethel we hear rumors about an assassination attempt on a prince and shapeshifters taking other people's forms. Explosives were set off about 3 months ago. We arrive in Humbrey on the 8th of Fourtt.

Kai has been able to procure the magic charms which allow us to stay underwater at any depth while able to breath for up to an hour per use of the charm. They recharge once per day and hold one charge. The asking price for us borrowing these charms is trinkets from wherever we’re exploring.

He also has the information for the crimes we can commit to get the batteries for safe.

We decide to do crime.

This will involve heading north of Valdethirsk.

We all take a day to prepare before heading out. We will teleport to New Flavem once we are ready. I sell my Funk Robot for 75gp. I buy an extra dagger for 2gp.

I prepay 1sp per day for 10 days to store: Fine Clothes, Chef’s Uniform, 89 Owlbear Claws, Leatherworkers Tools, Fishing Tackle, Net, Dancing Outfit with Cape

As we are going up, Wash says he’s been trolling so he is a well known figure and if people recognize him, just walk faster. He’s known as a generous person with funny ideas about what people should smell like.

It is time.

We go out of town and teleport to the Blue Man group in New Flavem. Elzira offers to use Banishment if they want to be teleported to their original plane of existence. He is a bit reluctant but only people who know him would be able to tell. They are really excited and wish to all go together. Unfortunately, Elzira can only send one per day. Zorka is suspicious.

Zorka wants to go first. Elzira does it.

They try to figure out how we’ll stay in touch.

We visit the safe and Arachne tells it we’re looking for a way to get batteries so it can live with April.

Three days to Gendry.

We speak with the guards who were inspecting it and we’re given a message to take with us to Gendry.

Monday! We arrive to Gendry and rest to stock rations. We have been on the road for 3 days.

We carry on northward! Things go well and no significant events occur.

Hestor tells Arachne that if we are in need, we are free to ask and they’ll see what they can do to help.

We arrive at Whethel. I stop by for a drink when we arrive.

I hear people talking about descent in upheaval in the south. Someone says something weird where they talk about shapeshifters taking other people’s forms. I also hear there is a certain knight that smells of poop and pond water. I do hear some people talking softly in the corner. I try to see if I can listen in without being noticed. I do not hear what they say. Star does! He hears them talking about how there was supposedly an assassination attempt on one of the princes. The next day we head to Humbrey.
